Boston loves to sit by Joshua whenever they are together. They are watching a movie together and are both fascinated. Joshua 7 months old.

Joshua 7 months old. Joshua is able to say "dadda" and "mama". He loves making noise with his mouth and throat.

Hawaii

These three pictures are of Haleakala volcano. We were above the clouds at 10,000 feet elevation. At the bottom it was about 80 degrees and when we drove to the top it was 58 degrees.




The first two pictures are of Honolua bay which was the best place to snorkel. We saw tons of turtles, a school of fish, eals, and lots of pretty fish. The next picture is of the trail you take to get to Honolua bay.




In the first picture Joshua is actually sleeping. We catch him a lot sleeping with his eyes open. And the next picture is daddy and Joshua relaxing from a long day of playing on the beach.

Joshua is such a happy little boy. It is so easy to make him smile. I love him so much.

Baseball Outfit

I just love dressing up Joshua in all of his cute outfits. This one might be my favorite. Joshua is getting so big. His 3-6 month outfits don't fit him anymore and is noe wearing 6-9 month outfits. He can sit all by himself for about 2 seconds and than falls.

Joshua loves to just sit on the couch all by himself.

Daily Exercise

Joshua is 3 and a half months old and is starting to enjoy this toy. He only lasts about 5-10 minutes and than wants out. I can't wait until he can actually reach all the toys and be able to play with them.

First shots at nine weeks old

Joshua got his first shots and it was the saddest thing to watch. He cried during the shots and stopped crying when I picked him up and gave him loves. He fell asleep when we got home and didn't cry until a few hours later when he started to feel the pain in his little legs. Anytime he moved his legs he would cry in pain. It was so sad. The picture of him happy is after we gave him medicine for the pain.

HI EVERYONE!

Hopefully this will help us all keep in touch and we can more easily share our notable experiences with you.

I'm not sure if any of you caught the "State of the State" address from Governor Huntsman tonight, but if you did, you would have caught his mention of my mom, Joyce Smart, for her excellence in education and for being an inspiration to all of us - you're awesome Mom!!

Joshua is just over six weeks old and is very smiley. He still poops, so we are looking forward to him growing out of that phase. Jennifer enjoys being a full-time mother, and I am able to come home most days and have lunch with the family.

I still work at ThermoFisher Scientific and currently work full-time on a global process reengineering project that we are set to wrap up in March; we have been going strong since last spring. It has been fun getting to know people from all over the globe (Belgium, India, England, New Zealand, Australia, and China). I am still working part-time on a MBA and look to finish that up Summer 2009.

We have other family members that are very faithful with their blogs and we love to read them and look at the fun pictures, so hopefully we can keep up with you guys!
